2025 UTME: JAMB confirms registration, exam dates

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially announced the registration and examination dates for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). This year's registration process is set to begin on January 31, 2025, and will close on March 5, 2025.

Prospective candidates can expect to take the mock examination on April 5, 2025, while the main UTME will commence on April 25, 2025, and conclude on May 5, 2025 ¹. It's essential for candidates to note that the registration process must be completed within the designated window, as late submissions will not be entertained.

Registration Fees and Requirements

The registration fees for the 2025 UTME have been set at ₦8,200 for candidates opting for the mock examination, ₦7,200 for those taking only the UTME, and ₦5,700 for Direct Entry candidates. Additionally, candidates are required to provide their National Identification Number (NIN) to create a profile code, a prerequisite for the registration process.

JAMB has also commenced the accreditation of centres for the 2025 UTME. New Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres must meet specific requirements, including conducting an Autobot/Autotest, to be eligible for accreditation
